Vines
We just got a big shipment of vines! You will find these right outside the back door of the greenhouse as well as on display inside the greenhouse.
Jasmine
Two types of jasmine are currently available.
Star Jasmine – This beautiful evergreen vine is great for establishing a screen or covering a trellis and will cover 15 feet or more. It is very fragrant and perfect for patios and sitting areas. This jasmine performs well in partial shade but it can tolerate full sun if given adequate water. It is also good for pots.
Pink Jasmine (Jasmine stephanense) – Slightly hardier than Star Jasmine, this jasmine has pale pink flowers and is quite vigorous. A favorite among hummingbirds. You can expect them to flock to this vine!
Honeysuckle – The sweet nostalgic scent of honeysuckle is a favorite among gardeners. This fast-growing vine does best in sun and needs a sturdy fence or structure for support. We have several varieties including ‘Goldflame’ (pictured), ‘Purple Leaf’, ‘Hall’s’ and ‘Mandarin’.
Mandevilla – This tropical looking vine is tender but grows quickly during the summer to cover a small trellis or mailbox. Colors come in red and pink. If you are looking for a vine that makes a strong statement, this is it!
Clematis – We have a large assortment of clematis varieties. Colors come in purple, red, pink and white. An endearing vine that is unforgettable when in full flower.
