Summer Perennials

The greenhouse is full of beautiful perennials for your summer garden. Here are just some of the latest arrivals –

Coreopsis ‘Uptick Gold & Bronze’ is a great perennial for edging along pathways and at the front of borders. Several other varieties are also available.

Daylily ‘Primal Scream’ – Easy to grow daylilies are always dependable and ‘Primal Scream’ is one of the richest oranges available.

Coneflower (Echinacea) ‘Sombrero Sangria’ is a fiery orange. We have more than a dozen coneflower varieties in the greenhouse!

Agastache (aka Hummingbird Mint or Hyssop) ‘Kudos Mandarin’ and ‘Kudos Coral’

Another hummingbird favorite is Bee Balm (Monarda). This variety is called ‘Balmy Lilac’

A unique Rudbeckia called ‘Maya’ will certainly command attention in the border.

A good plant for wet areas, Lobelia ‘Fan Burgundy’ is a beautiful red for the garden.

One of the most popular perennials is Phlox. ‘Glamour Girl’ is a lovely variety with hot pink flowers.

Helenium (aka Sneezeweed) ‘ Bishop’ makes tall clumps in the garden and are excellent as accents.

Dianthus ‘Georgia Peach Pie’ is a beautiful new hybrid pink, with palest blush pink blooms with unique vibrant coral centers. Blooms are carried on sturdy stems that do not flop.

Allium ‘Millenium’ was awarded the 2018 Perennial Plant of the Year. This 15″ plant grows best in full sun.
