These trees typically grow to a height of around 10 feet (some higher, some lower) and are good for containers or for a special spot in your garden. ‘Mikazuki’ – Bright pink/red leaves with red/purple veining in spring turn to a cream-color in summer. Autumn color is bright gold to orange. The name means “crescent moon”. Grows to 10 feet in 10 years.

 

‘Ikandi’ – Yes, it is pronounced as “Eye Candy”. Solid pink leaves turn green in summer and appear variegated as the tree ages. Orange to red fall color. Grows to 10-12 feet in 10 years. 

 

‘Hubb’s Red Willow’ – Reminiscent of bamboo, this narrow-leaved maple has deep red color that matures to maroon. Fall color is bright red. Grows to 10 feet in 10 years.

 

‘Alpine Sunrise’ – Reaching only 5-6 feet in 10 years, this striking maple has bright red leaves that turn to maroon in summer and attain brighter red color in fall.

 

‘Emperor One’ – An upright growing maple with glossy, bright red leaves. Grows to 15 feet.

 

‘Spring Delight’ – This laceleaf variety has green leaves dipped in red that turns to bright yellow or orange in fall. Grows to 4-5 feet tall and 6-8 feet wide.

 

‘Burgundy Jewel’ – This stunning vine maple variety has leaves of deep maroon that turn bright crimson and orange in fall. Grows to 12-15 feet.

 

‘Ukigamo’ – also known as “Floating Clouds”, this unique variety has white, pink and green colored leaves that turn a golden yellow in fall. It will reach 8-12 feet in 10 years.

 

‘Orangeola’ – Willow-leafed maple with a cascading habit, the leaves begin in shades of bright red or orange and turn to green. Mature height is typically 4-5 feet.
